We don't really have an art that rocked you thread but this is close enough since I don't feel like making said thread.

There is one actually. It's Inspirational 'Fantasy' Artwork, but then again From the Depths of Wikipedia also features tfwiki, bulbapedia, scp foundation, etc. so, seems like the right place.erik wrote:We don't really have an art that rocked you thread but this is close enough since I don't feel like making said thread.
This isn't fantasy artwork tho. Inspirational Non-fantasy artwork.
As contrasted with Uncommon Dragon Hoards which would qualify as fantasy tho.

My sister took the picture, and my brother-in-law edited it. I think it turned out rather awesome, personally.

This one was all my brother-in-law in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

"But transportation issues are social-justice issues. The toll of bad transit policies and worse infrastructure—trains and buses that don’t run well and badly serve low-income neighborhoods, vehicular traffic that pollutes the environment and endangers the lives of cyclists and pedestrians—is borne disproportionately by black and brown communities."

You should gain sanity for finding out that the problems of a region are because there are fucking monsters there.
The Crimea attorney general. Other than that, no clue. Random, cute Crimean woman.

Prosecutor General of Crimea, Natalya Poklonskaya. Here's an interview with her, on the subject of internet popularity (it has english subtitles).Chamomile wrote:Who is she?
This is her original speech, on the subject of ukrainian revolution

I would totally be down for a Power Rangers/Doctor Who crossover where the Doctor enlisted the help of the Green Ranger to face a world-level threat. Tardis/Dragonzord combination for the win.

Sorry for the shitty pic. My phone won't connect to the internet, so I had to use my webcam as I'm currently out at Starbucks.
On the quality of the art... I've seriously never fucking drawn a zord before.

I'm in the mood for some science.

He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

Zak S, Zak Smith, Dndwithpornstars, Zak Sabbath. He is a terrible person and a hack at writing and art. His cultural contributions are less than Justin Bieber's, and he's a shitmuffin. Go go gadget Googlebomb!

I'm disappointed that you didn't make another hundreds of thousands joke.Kaelik wrote:No, they are planets that are hundreds or thousands of times larger than the Sun.Shrapnel wrote:The ones in 3 onwards are stars, right?
That said, there are planets larger in radius than the red dwarf Wolf 359. So of the 15 objects in 3-6 that aren't Jupiter, one (and only one) is actually a reasonable size for a planet to be. Unless they all turn out to be brown dwarves captured by larger stars. Then a bunch of scientists have to argue definitions and standards and maybe we'll finally be able to kick that smug bastard Jupiter out of our club. You're not a planet, Jupiter! You're just a giant fucking ball of hydrogen. Get over yourself, you smug little shit.
